Made very welcome including coffee and cake when we arrived. Most amazing set of ducks and the 2 pot bellied pigs wandering around the garden Jane even gave us a lift to our restaurant in the evening. Room very nice followed by lovely breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

Me and my hubby loved staying here.It was so relaxing.We loved the animals and birds they keep.was so near to beaches and a good base for visiting other lovely places. We were well looked after and didn't want to leave!!!! Angela and Glen Pearce

The Best Breakfast you will ever have, The Vegetarian was the best in the world, loved the stuffed mushroom. You need to walk 5 miles to worked it off well worth it. Such a friendly home from home you will not want to leave. Hope we visit again soon. Highly recommend this lovely beautiful B&B to everyone. Thank you for such a lovely fantastic stay.

I can't recommend this little gem highly enough. Wonderful accommodation, wonderful, friendly hosts, beautiful grounds and animals...particularly George and Mildred (the pigs) and pooch. The breakfast was simply divine and we all had a super time. Thank you so much for making our special weekend so memorable. Will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful B&B top quality rooms breakfast couldn't ask for anything more quality food looking out on the garden loads of little happy animals running around... Back garden leads to chesil beach.. We moved about in Weymouth as we was working there and this was a million miles ahead of anything we stayed in fantastic!!!

This place is beautiful - it is like style meets the Darling Buds of May - informal yet classy, relaxed yet supremely comfortable, homely yet gastronomic and probably the best location in Dorset.

My favourite B&B ever. Lovely hospitable hosts and a stunning location. Amazing breakfast! Really nice comfortable clean rooms and Jane's home made cake and tea on arrival is the cherry on top.

Beautifully appointed b&b plus. Great friendly welcome, cakes to die for. Farmyard animals & delightful gardens with direct access to the coastal path.

Lovely farmhouse. Good amenities and very clean.

Narrow streets surprisingly lead to an oasis which is the Swallows Rest, situated on the edge of open countryside leading down to the coast. We had a very warm welcome which included coffee and lovely homemade cake. The breakfast was one of the best we have had, once again with homemade jam and bread, it was more than we could eat. The room we had was en suite and vey comfortable and nicely done. Plenty of parking, we recommend it.

My Partner and I have travelled to South England the very first time. We were so much impressed of the beautiful landscapes all over. Jane's warm welcoming made us feel like coming home and we were so happy to spend the whole evening at their place all by ourselves. The room was well equipped, spotlessly clean and decorated with lots of lovely details. Homemade sweets, cake and tea were in our room by arrival. Not to forget the fantastic breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever we had during our whole England trip. Thanks a lot to Jane and Keith with their big animal family, especially George the pig.... or was it a dog??? Next time we stop at this gorgeous B&B, we hope to spend more than just one night.

We loved this B&B. We stayed in the house which was superb. The owners did everything they could do to make us comfortable and even babysat our dogs. If you are looking for an amazing breakfast (we rolled out of there), comfortable rooms with every amenity laid on (coffee, tea, cake, muffins, you name it), afternoon tea and cake, this is the place for you. Oh yes, did we mention that it's walking distance to the beach. Rush to get there! We had a superb experience with pot bellied pig, ducks, horses all in 37 acres of land with fabulous views. the host and hostess made us very welcome we felt very spoiled, our accommodation was lovely with a private bathroom, the choice of breakfast was amazing!!! Also welcomed with coffee and home made cakes - would definitely recommend Swallows Rest.....

The welcome and friendliness of the hosts. Greeting with refreshments including cake and supplying small cakes and chocolate in the room each day was above our expectations and a very nice thought, it added that little extra touch that makes you feel special. Loved the swallows, the variety of birds at the bird table just outside the patio doors of the dining room, the chickens, two pigs and most of all the fabulous view of the sea and Portland Island. Being our Ruby Wedding Anniversary it was a nostalgic trip across the Island visiting where we used to live many years ago.

Lovely position, good for coastal walks, bird watching - there were indeed lots of swallows resting before migration drinking from the pond in the garden. We particularly enjoyed meeting the friendly pig that liked having his back scratched! The owners were very welcoming. The tea and home made cakes on arrival were great. We walked to the Crab House cafe where you can eat locally grown oysters.

This is quality. I've paid a lot more money for far worse. Tea and cake (rather wonderful) when I arrived, A comfortable and attractive room, A full English to put the average hotel to shame.
